Introduction :
Travel to Morocco and take a hiking tour to Toubkal summit in the High Atlas Mountains presents a worthy challenge for the hiking enthusiast. The climb takes four days, and you'll be rewarded with views of the ruggedly beautiful terrain. Trek to Mount Toubkal through the wilderness, and explore some of the most spectacular spots in the area, including Imlil valley, the Sidi Chamarouch shrine, and the summit of Mt Toubkal.
Program details :
Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil
- 04 days Atlas Mountains hiking tour from Marrakech in Morocco.Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech and drive towards Imlil valley where you will be met by a local guide! You will check in at a guest house before you set off on an amazing hike to Tizi Mzik pass 2489m where you will have a stop for lunch prepared by your cook. After the lunch, you will walk back down via the same hiking route to your lodge in Imlil where you will spend the night with dinner.
Day 2: Imlil - Sidi Chamharouch - Neltner Refuge
- 04 days Atlas Mountains hiking tour from Marrakech in Morocco.Continuing along the Mizane Valley we cross the flood plain and follow the mule tracks up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley. Crossing the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine houses of Sidi Chamharouch, set beside a small waterfall and a jumbled cluster of village clinging to the rock face. From here the trail continues to climb steadily, snaking and zigzagging its way up towards the snow-line and the welcoming sight of the Neltner Refuge (3,207 m). At the base of Toubkal we stay at Mountain Refuge. The rooms are basic dorm rooms with bunk beds. There are shared toilets and showers, a dining room and large lounge area with a wood burning stove where everyone gathers and socializes in the evening. It's a great way to meet like-minded trekkers from all over the world. Today's moderate nine-and-a-half kilometre walk is expected to take around five hours with a total ascent of 1,257 metres.
Day 3: Refuge - Summit of Jebel Toubkal (4,167m)
- 04 days Atlas Mountains hiking tour from Marrakech in Morocco.Today early morning we make our attempt to achieve the summit of Jebel Toubkal (4,167 m). Our hike takes us up the south cirque, a steep climb across rock that leads eventually to the Tizi N'Toukbal (3,975 m). Cresting the ridge it is then just a short walk to the summit. On a clear day the views from up here take in the Marrakech Plain and the High Atlas Mountains and stretch as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. From the summit we head back down to the refuge where you will spend the overnight with dinner.
Day 4: Refuge 3207m - Imlil 1740m - Marrakech.

Clothes and Equipments :
Should be dress according to altitude and the environment you will be located in. The most hikers are in high altitude climate in remote area. Therefore, there are often large temperature swings. Temperatures are usually colder at the high altitudes.
