Day 1: Arrival to Casablanca - Rabat

Welcome to Morocco! Arrive to Med V airport in Casablanca where you will meet your driver and escorted to your hotel. The driver will provide a brief overview of your honeymoon tour. You will explore the city starting with the mosque of Hassan II built by King Hassan II and shows wonderful sample of Moorish influences in Morocco. We will also take a smooth walk by the seaside of Casablanca. Afterwards, drive via the main capital Rabat with an optional stop to see the unfinished mosque tower of Hassan dated back to the 12th century. You will also visit the mausoleum of Mohamed V, built by King Hassan II and dedicated to his father, Mohamed V. You will visit the 12th century Kasbah of Oudaya with its beautiful white and blue buildings with a fantastic view over the Atlantic beach and Bouragrag River. Check in and overnight with dinner at the hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen

Today, you will explore Rabat, Morocco’s main capital, where the bustling Medina (old city) still resembles the town created ages ago and home to the minaret of the Hassan Tower. Sightseeing will also include the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the striking and evocative 12th century Kasbah of Oudaya with its beautiful white and blue buildings with a fantastic view over the Atlantic beach and Bouragrag River, and the ramparts of the Mechouar surrounding the Royal Palace. Afterwards, we continue the journey towards the blue washed town of Chefchaouen nestled in the Rif Mountains in the North of Morocco. Check in at the hotel for the overnight with dinner.

Day 3: Explore Chefchaouen

Today you will explore Chefchaouen, Morocco's enchanting city beneath the striking peaks of the Rif Mountains. Whitewashed homes with red tile roofs line narrow, winding laneways, their walls painted in brilliant shades of blue. Take a sightseeing tour with a friendly local guide, and discover firsthand the culture of this fascinating region of Morocco. You will enjoy the distinctive Arab-Andalusian art and architecture, narrow streets, marvelous fountains, squares, traditional public oven. Then you will arrive at the spectacular center of the city and see the Outa Hammam Square with the 14th-century fortress and the big mosque. After you learn about the history of this city, we will continue the tour to the Ras El Maa spring. Chefchaouen is a unique city located in the Mountains and every guest will feel amazed by its breathtaking views, its springs, watermills, natural pools. Spend the overnight with dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, we drive towards Volubilis, the archaeological Roman site well-preserved listed in UNESCO (1997), remains of astonishing mosaics, hundreds of Latin inscriptions and artistic materials. After our enjoyable walk in Volubilis we carry on to explore the other 17th century Imperial city Meknes. The tour will include the ramparts around the Medina and the tremendous gate of Bab Mansour (1732), the granary Sahrij Swani, grain and water storage and used as a barn for 12000 horses. Meknes has a big production of olive oil and olives and you will see an amazing verity of olives in the local market of square Lahdime. We leave Meknes towards the medieval city of Fes driving by open fields of barley, wheat and olive trees. Check in for the overnight with dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Fez Sightseeing tour

Today you will meet your local tour guide to explore the old medieval medina of Fez and the first imperial city, a real labyrinthine of more than 9000 alleyways and deserves to be the intellectual and cultural capital of the kingdom. You will start with a stop by the ornamented Royal Palace gate. Then, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the southern tower of Fes, and visit the cooperative of pottery where they make tiles and Moroccan mosaic. You will mingle with local people in the narrow streets full of articles, colors and donkeys carrying goods. You will see a lot of handcrafted items. We will explore one of the Koranic school (Medrassa), the Nejjarine fountain, and the Karaouine Mosque University. The leather tanneries, famous in Fes, is one the highlights of the tour, watching locals working on skins of goat, lamb, camel and cow, in small pits. You also will indulge yourselves with some special dishes of Fes cuisine. The rest of the day is at leisure with overnight at the hotel or Riad.

Day 6: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

Today we leave the imperial city of Fez heading to another part of Morocco crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop for a short break in Ifrane nicknamed the small Switzerland where is the first ski resort in Morocco. We will be surrounded by amazing sceneries and landscapes of Mountains and plains. A special species of native monkeys living in cedar forest called Maggot monkeys in Azrou. We will have a lunch break in Midelt celebrating the festival of apples every year. There is a big contrast of landscapes especially before we arrive to Errachidia main city named after the prince Moulay Rachid around 1971. Then we drive through Ziz Valley and the gate of the Sahara Arfoud to reach the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. We ride camel to enjoy a superb sunset in the middle of Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend a celestial overnight with the gleaming stars in a desert camp with dinner.

Day 7: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Skoura

After breakfast, we leave the magical dune Erg Chebbi in Merzouga and head towards the old irrigation system that was used in the oasis of Ziz. We will have lunch in the Valley of Todra gorges considered as one of the oldest valleys in Morocco for caravan trading of silver and jewellery. A beautiful valley of 15 km ends up with spectacular Gorges, mainly used for rock climbing and picnics. We embark on Dades valley which has an astonishing rock formation made by million years of erosion. We cross more Rose Valley, the only place in Morocco where we harvest Damascus rose in which we extract some products like rose water and rose oil best for skin treatment and anti-wrinkles. We reach the palm groves of Skoura Oasis for the overnight with dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhdaou Kasbah - Marrakech

Today you can have an optional tour to the Kasbah of Ameridil before heading towards the Hollywood of Africa Ouarzazate to visit the Cinema Studio. We drive to Ait Benhaddou village where you will go for a walk to visit this ancient village. An authentic site where a list of movies were filmed starting with the first movies “Lawrence of Arabia”, ”Jesus of Nazareth”, ”Gladiator” and the list is still going on. It is also listed in UNESCO as a site of the world and national culture in 1987. After that we head to the north of High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka pass. You will enjoy a spectacular road of red Mountains and Berber villages to reach the pink city of Marrakech for the overnight with dinner at the hotel or Riad.

Day 9: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech city. You will start with a fresh morning visit to Jack Majorelle gardens, a peaceful spot in the Ville Nouvelle, contains botanic and exotic plants brought from all over the world, with dominating indigo blue to paint. You are going to visit the 19th Century Bahia Palace, built by the Grand Visir of Marrakech with its incredible mosaics and stucco and hear some interesting stories about his 4 wives and the 24 concubines!!. Admire the extraordinary architecture of Saadian Tombs, a royal necropolis of the 17th century. Then soak up the sounds and scents at Marrakech’s most famous colorful souks before reaching Jemaa el Fnaa, where you can be right in the buzz of local life as it changes from a typical market in the day to a place of entertainment at night. The square of Jemaa lefna is a bustling place where snake charmers, monkeys, food stalls and musicians, the most animated square in Marrakech. The rest of the day is at leisure with overnight at the hotel or Riad.

Day 10: Day Trip to the Atlas Mountains

Today you will escape the bustling Marrakech for a break to the Atlas Mountains. This Day Trip is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a scenic drive into the National Park of Toubkal. On the way, in the verdant valleys with several Berber villages, one can admire the vast countryside covered with green oaks, cypresses and other typical vegetation of the Atlas. The route of the Asni Ouirgane day trip offers you a variety of overwhelming landscapes. Then we will take a small Mountain-pass to arrive at Ouirgane and we will enter in the canyons of the Oued N’Fis.

You will make a few stops along the way for the stunning panoramic views before you reach the village of Imlil Toubkal contains the highest summit in the north of Africa and it is the second summit in Africa after Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. We will exit at the small village of Imlil, the starting point for exploring the Toubkal area with a local Mountain guide. The environment of Imlil is glorious, you just have to wear some comfy sport footwear for this, and our tour guide will accompany you for a smooth hike amidst the Berber villages. On the afternoon you will back to the city of Marrakech for the overnight with breakfast at the hotel or Riad.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

After breakfast at the hotel we’ll head to Essaouira. You will have the opportunity to see the Argan trees, important to the region both economically and ecologically. You may also see local goats perched in the trees feeding on the fruit and leaves. At the women's Co-operative of Argan Oil, there will be an opportunity to learn about the wide ranging applications of the oil from cosmetics to medicines. Famous for its fine wood- work, Essaouira is also home to the silver souk art galleries and islands. It’s easy to see why Essaouira is often dubbed the ‘Jewel of the Atlantic’. This place has earned such a following that Orson Welles filmed Othello here in 1949. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress, the port. Essaouira is a melting pot of locals and foreigners who came and stayed have created a laid back, atmospheric and intriguing resort. Windsurfers love Essaouira, clean waters and it’s the Atlantic Trade winds that have ensured the large-scale operators stay out and the character stays in. Day 12: Essaouira - Casablanca

After breakfast departure to Safi north of Essaouira, a city known by its Portuguese architecture, which houses one of the largest ports in the kingdom. Safi town of fishermen and is now known throughout the country for the expertise of its artisans in pottery and ceramics. We continue the journey via the town of Oualidia known for Oysters to the coastal port city of El Jadida, which was strongly influenced by the Portuguese, visit its citadel, walls, impressive tank and another defense structure that were left behind when the Portuguese left in the 18th century. Inside the walls are old Portuguese mansions with pilasters and wrought iron balconies, mosques and churches built next to each other. Arrive to Casablanca. Check in and overnight with breakfast at the hotel.

Day 13: Casablanca - Back to the airport

Depending on when your flight is scheduled, transfer to Casablanca or Marrakech international airport for your return flight with plenty of tales of Arabian and Berber days and nights of a memorable honeymoon journey.
