Agadir is a Berber term related to a communal fortified granary, an inappropriate tribal name for a city whose history is full of foreign powers and ruling sultans. Destroyed by an earthquake in 1960, Agadir is now a completely modern city, an all-season resort town, an eternal jewel of the south.
The guided tour will start from the famous Kasbah, one of the main attractions of Agadir. We will climb to the top of this historic fort with Berber origins, which was once devastated by an earthquake. From the top you will have an incredible view of Agadir city.
From there, we head towards the Mosque of Mohamed V and also pass by the Synagogue Beth-El, two important temples of Agadir. Strolling through the center of the city we will arrive to the walled market of El Had, where you have the opportunity the try out your bargaining skills at the countless stalls if you wish to have some local souvenirs.
