Sahara Adventure
This Morocco desert trip is a wonderful experience for cleaning the mind of all the daily thoughts and worries. The desert and its dunes stretch for miles and miles. Life settles into a timeless routine of local tea and fresh bread where you feel the serenity and the immensity of the desert. Then a few time before the evening meal, a roaring fire, music, singing and a night under the stars as you have never seen before. You will discover unique landscapes and lost paradise, meet friendly people and sleep like a nomad either under the berber tent or under the star filled sky.
- Day 1: Marrakech - Ait benaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges
Pick up from your Hotel in Marrakech and transfer to the verdant oasis of Dades Gorge. The first interesting haven that we cross are the high Atlas Mounrains at a summit of 2260 m (Tizi N'tichka). You will enjoy the berber life in old adobe villages and nice sceneries. We head to Ouarzazate , named “Hollywood of Africa” thanks to international movies tournament, to visit Taourirt Kasbah before we continue to Skoura palm groves and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, we will cross the colorful Berber villages before we achieve Dades gorges. Dinner and night in the hotel
- Day 2: Dades gorges - Todra gorges - Merzouga
After breakfast in your hotel in dades gorges, we follow our way to Tinghir through Dades valley and head to Todra gorges for lunch in a restaurant situated in the heart of the canyons with 300 m high, there will be a possibility to hike for an hour inside the valley for those who are interested in treks. In the afternoon, we leave to Erfoud via Tinjedad with its old underground irrigation system, we will discover the fossils and places where they are extracted before we achieve the dunes of Merzouga by Erg Chebbi. After a rest of 15 minutes, you ride camels directly to the oasis where you will enjoy the night with dinner and entertainement under the nomad tent or under the starlit.
- Day 3 : Merzouga - Tazarine - Draa Valley - Zagora
After an unforgettable quiet night among the sand dunes of erg chebbi and in nomad’s land, you will admire the sunrise upon the dunes, then a typical breakfast is served and return back with camels to the hostel to meet your driver, shower and leave to Rissani, we will explore its touristic area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm tree grove as a part of your exploration. Lunch break in Tazarine, then we continue to Agdez via the bridge of Tansikht and the highest part of Draa valley. Dinner and night in a hotel in Zagora.
- Day 4: Zagora - Agdez - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
After breakfast in your hotel, we leave Zagora driving through the Draa valley and Agdez to discover the hidden treasures of the Southern region and continue to Ouarzazate where you visit the Taourirt Kasbah (lunch on the spot). In the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains with a visit to Ait benhaddou kasbah as a world heritage. We reach the Marrakech around 05 :00 p .m.
