Mountain & desert Tour

• Day 1: Fes to Merzouga via Cedar forest and Ziz valley ( New Years party)

Depart from Fes along the forested hillside city of Ifrane. Today the area is a popular ski resort. Then continue to encounter the cedar forests where many colonies of Barbary apes will keep you amused. Then continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley passing palm groves and green valleys. We arrive to Merzouga where you trek in the sand dunes of Sahara desert during a beautiful sunset for about 2 hours to reach the desert camp for the night by the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight in the Nomad tent, night full of stars, Berber music and good food. Night that you will not forget. Overnight in Nomad tents, dinner & breakfast.

• Day 2: Merzouga to Dades Gorge via Erfoud and Todra gorges.

After breakfast and stunning sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi return to Merzouga on the back of your camels to shower and depart. Head towards Todra Gorges - the highest oasis in Morocco, its walls are 300 meters high. Have lunch by the gorges appreciating by this natural water reservoir.Then continue your journey towards other impressive gorges of Dades passing the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills. Overnight and dinner in a hotel right in the Dades Gorges lined by the red and mauve rock.

• Day 3: Dades Gorge to Marrakech via Rose valley and Ouarzazate

Today discover the Valley of roses, Kelaa M'Gouna a center of Moroccan roses and rose products. Then continue your trip via the Road of OneThousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm oasis arrive to Ouarzazate. After a lunch stop in Ouarzazate, continue with a visit of UNESCO protected site of Ait Benhaddou. Leave the kasbah and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass of Tizni Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrival to Marrakech by the sunset.
