Essaouira
This day trip starts from Marrakech towards Essaouira town around 08 a.m. This fascinating town has long been considered as one of the best anchorages of the Moroccan coast. The bay at Essaouira is partially sheltered by the island of Mogador, making it a peaceful harbour protected against strong marin winds.
The heart of Essaouira is a small traditional medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, relatively unspoiled by tourism. The souks are quiet compared with Marrakech and offer an exciting range of craft goods including exquisite marquetry, made from the fragrant local thuya wood. Lunch is to be enjoyed in sea fruit restaurant. In the afternoon, drive back to Marrakech.
