Desert Short Escape
This desert tour tailored to explore the desert of Zagora in two days. This short trip will take you along the atlas mountains - Ait benhaddou kasbah - Draa valley and the desert of zagora where you will enjoy a camel ride and sleep under the nomad tent or under the gleaming stars.
- Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Draa Valley - Zagora
Departure from Marrakech early morning towards the south area. The first interesting haven that we cross is the high Atlas Mounrains at the summit of2.260 m(Tizi n’Tichka). Along that way you will enjoy the berber life in old adobe villages and nice sceneries. We reach one of the heritages classed by the UNESCO, which is the fortified Kasbah of Ait Benhadou. Lunch will be enjoyed in the Hollywood of North Africa named Ouarzazate. We continue to reach the Draa valley at the length of 200 km. We cross partly off road to reach the door of Sahara desert, Zagora for the night with dinner in a desert camp under the nomad tent.
- Day 2: Zagora - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and the breakfast meal, ride your camel back to Zagora to reach your vehicle, then drive through the Draa valley and Agdez to discover the hidden treasures of the Southern region and continue to Ouarzazate where you will enjoy lunch and explore the city with its Kasbah and Cinema Studios. Afternoon drive back to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains. We reach the red city around 06:00 p.m.
