Erg Ezzahar trek
This Sahara trek is definitely an experience everyone should have at least once in lifetime. It is a journey well worth the effort and you will have fond memories to last you forever.
Departure: 09:00 h from Mhamid.Arrival: 16:00 h back to Mhamid the sixth day.

This desert tour organization starts from two people.
- Day 1: Mhamid - Oued Naam
We start our trip on the camel back to explore and discover very beautiful parts of the big desert. We head towards the big dunes of Erg Ezzahar. After about 3 hours ridding we sit for a lunch break under a shadowy tree. After lunch, we taste a nomad cup of tea to refresh our bodies and get energy for more trekking. After another 3 hours between ridding and trekking, we set a camp in a dry river ( Oued Naam ) to spend the night with dinner under the starlit sky.
- Day 2: Oued Naam - Bougern
After breakfast, we cross a big part of the desert area (about 3 hours ridding). Later, we sit for lunch in somewhere of nowhere. After lunch meal, we continue to explore the superb sights. After another about 3 hours walking, we set our camp in wonderful dunes area named Bougaren . We will have dinner and night under the starlit sky or in the tent.
- Day 3: Bougern - Erg Smer
After the sunrise and the morning breakfast, we carry on towards the dunes of Erg Smer. Before we reach these dunes, lunch and a cup of tea are offered to relax and get more energy in a nice area. After relaxation, we continue our desert exploration for about one hour and half.You enjoy the sunset in these dunes to taste a different world of calmness and tranquillity. After dinner, we spend the night in the Berber mobile tent.
- Day 4: Erg Smer - Erg Ezzahar
After breakfast, departure to the dunes of Erg Ezzahar. Lunch on the way; in the afternoon, the caravan continues to reach these sublime dunes. We will install a mobile camp. The sunset is very panoramic and exciting. Dinner and overnight in tents or under the stars in Erg Ezzahar.
- Day 5: Erg Ezzahar - Sidi Naji
We get up early morning to enjoy the sunrise upon Ezzahar dunes. Breakfast will be served in a Moroccan way. Later, we continue our discovery along the dunes and desert stones. Lunch will be served in somewhere of nowhere. Then, continue towards the dunes of Sidi Naji for the night in the tent or under the starlit sky.
- Day 6: Sidi Naji - Mhamid
In the morning of the sixth day, we head towards M'hamid . Lunch will be served under nice shadowy palm trees in Draa Valley . We end our trekking in Mhamid.
